Not to mention the eternal problems of people not being prepared to raid or not concentrating while raiding.

So I won't be putting up any raids for a bit, and until I have my PC sorted out or can be bothered to set up my UI on my Mac, I probably won't be online much.

Sterling.

Sanguina Wed, 03 Feb 2010 19:52:19 -0000 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/368814 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/368814 Christmas raiding
Posted 16/12/2009 09:32 AM by Sanguina.

Hey all

I anticipate the guild getting quiet over Christmas and for you to be online less often. So in the week 22nd to 29th December you should feel free to pug the weekly raid quest.

I'll probably put a guild run up for it, so keep an eye on the website, but I'm not expecting full attendance.

We'll have another bash at ICC early in January, with the benefit of better gear and hopefully having had a great time over the holidays.

Have a fabulous Christmas everyone!

Sterling.

Sanguina Wed, 16 Dec 2009 08:32:17 -0000 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/349720 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/349720 ToC raids up
Posted 29/11/2009 10:41 AM by Sanguina.

Well done to everyone who's helped get us so far through Ulduar. Two things:

First, I'm heading off on holiday this Tuesday (15 September) and won't be back until the start of October. I'll probably pop on to WoW from time to time, but won't be putting any raids up for this time. I hope that being able to pug Naxx will satisfy your need for emblems and raiding for two weeks. If not, let me know before I go.

Second, Ulduar 10 has been cleared by a group only in blue gear. Skill, concentration and good teamwork over gear or what?

http://www.wow.com/2009/09/02/yogg-saron-in-blues/

Sterling.

Sanguina Thu, 10 Sep 2009 23:11:00 -0000 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/312199 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/312199 Raiding essentials
Posted 01/09/2009 07:11 PM by Sanguina.

Hi all.

A lot of people seem not to understand or realise what's expected in raids. I've put up a new "raiding essentials" document which summarises what's required. I've not spelled everything out - this is a general guide to what we expect.

We also expect more in the more difficult raids: so don't think what is just about acceptable in Naxx 10 is going to work in Ulduar. Most of us put a lot of effort into making our raids work, which in turn makes them more fun. I hope you'll do the same.

Sterling.

Sanguina Tue, 01 Sep 2009 18:11:59 -0000 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/307974 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/307974 Pugging.
Posted 30/07/2009 11:10 AM by Anaisha.

Hi everyone.
The reason why I feel its necessary to put this post up is because I see a lot of people being eager to join the guild, agree to its rules and when we tell them off for breaking them, they leave.
And-yes-I am speaking about this big matter the Pugging of raids.
You guys, don't seem to really understand that we are a small guild, and we dont have enough active people to replace the ones that eventually get saved so we need the people not to join PuGs for instances that the guild raids, so they can go with us.
What is so difficult to understand there? You join a guild to help it progress as well as you getting geared up but you dont join it just to get yourself geared and doesnt matter what happens next.
Additionally I don't find it very nice if our members spam the /2 for people to join PuGs they are putting together. And I am asking you : How does this make us look like a serious progressing guild if we have members that act like noobs for real and make us look as well like some?
We are not a big or a fast progressing guild. But we are a bunch of nice people, we stick to each other and support each other and if the majority would have understood that, we would have been doing 25man raids on a regular basis already.
And in the unlikely case that you do want to join a PuG, why is it so difficult to just let one of the officers know?
I don't think those things mentioned above, are much to ask aren't they?
So, can we start all please to work together?
Would really appreciate that.

Anaisha Thu, 30 Jul 2009 10:10:01 -0000 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/294475 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/294475 Nice job in Ulduar last night!
Posted 27/07/2009 05:48 PM by Sanguina.

Great raid last night guys - 7 bosses down in one evening, and we still had time to spare. Let's get Thorim next time and get our hands on some T8!

On a less positive note, many of you are still doing under 3k dps on every boss fight. Please sort that out.

Sterling.

Sanguina Mon, 27 Jul 2009 16:48:10 -0000 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/293324 http://epiphany.guildomatic.com/news/show/293324
